ABOUT US
NEATE is a networking organization for English teachers in New England. It brings teachers together and provides resources that support and sustain literary professionals at all levels. NEATE hosts a large annual conference where New England's English teachers can meet each other, hear diverse perspectives, and build relationships for a changing educational environment. NEATE provides awards and grants to veteran and novice teachers, hosts writing contests for students, and sponsors a poet of the year contest. In short, NEATE supports English teachers throughout the region.
