| 2008 Fall Conference |
"Who is Responsible? Literacy and Education for All " NEATE invites teachers and graduate students at all levels of education to submit proposals for interactive workshops for its fall conference at the Radisson Hotel in Nashua, NH, on Friday and Saturday, October 24-25. The theme of this year’s conference, “Who Is Responsible? Literacy and Education for All,” acknowledges the power and the responsibility that belongs to the language arts teacher in a world of increasing accountability, but also one of expanding creativity and new research about how children and adults learn. Workshop presenters are encouraged (but not required) to consider submitting articles for publication in The Leaflet.
